Just when we thought we couldn’t love them any more, South Africa’s Rugby World Cup 2019 winning squad are raffling their personal mementoes from the tournament to feed the hungry.
The raffle, under the Stronger Together banner, is being run through Computicket and is SA Rugby Response to Covid-19.
Tickets cost R32-12 each, representative of the score when the Boks trounced England last year.
Already listed as up for grabs is “the shirt off Siya’s back” as well as Bongi Mbonambi’s RWC training jersey and boots, as well as a personal Rugby World Cup trophy tour to your home.
So far there is no word about the most famous of all Springbok gear, Faf’s speedo/underpants.
All proceeds of the raffle will go to hunger alleviation charities, Food Forward SA and Gift of the Givers. More prizes will be announced every day. More info click here.
